About Me
I am currently a Marketing Communications Specialist for G+D Currency Technology. On the side, I am also a public speaker and suicide prevention advocate of 9 years. I first started speaking my freshmen year at Forest Park High School in Woodbridge, Virginia. I began by guest speaking during the Signs of Suicide classes that were being taught to the freshmen. I did that all four years of high school. Starting my sophomore year, I started to become very involved with the organization American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP).
As a result, I now volunteer closely with AFSP. I am occasionally their keynote speaker when one is needed at their Out of the Darkness for Suicide Prevention walks. I have also spoken at Virginia Tech University & Quantico Middle/High School in Triangle, Virginia. I have done TV interviews with WUSA 9 & EHC-TV, a radio interview with WEHC, & a newspaper interview with The Whitetopper, Emory & Henry's campus newspaper.
